The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing survey, and in vivo inflammation / immunology models and ex vivo innovations. The scientist will identify procedures from published literature, perform method optimization and troubleshooting to develop new testing procedures. The successful candidate will have strong project management, and team leadership skills, and need to be comfortable writing about in vivo inflammation / immunology projects and animal studies in English. 1.Plan and coordinate R&D projects to develop GI, metabolic disease, inflammation, and immunology models including allocation of study materials and resources. 2.Communicate study developments and data internally and externally to sponsors and generating study reports and presentations. 3.Author technical protocols, reports, and SOPs, in English, of study methods and the analysis and interpretation in vivo inflammation study data. 4.Manage multiple projects and deliverables and assign priorities.

Qualifications:
• Independent research with in-lab expertise working with GI, metabolic disease, inflammation, and autoimmune models, including, IBD, diabetes, obesity, NASH, lupus, EAE, arthritis, dermatitis, fibrosis, and humanized models. • Scientific knowledge of inflammation and immunology pharmacology and drug resistance. • Experience leading a team for laboratory inflammation research, including usage of Luminex and FACS. • Project management experience to schedule studies and meet timelines. • Excellence in scientific report writing, in English, with a primary authorship of published scientific research. • Excellent spoken communication in English and Mandarin. • Comfort interacting with customers to provide drug discovery services. • Experience with statistical analysis of data and graphing using software such as GraphPad Prism. • Computer skills with Microsoft Office. Education/Experience: Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Science, immunology, biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology with at least 2 years academic, industry experience or postdoctoral experience.
