The postdoctoral scholar will work with Dr. Shih-Torng Ding.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a postdoctoral scholar to join our team and contribute to our research project titled "Increasing VLDL secretion by regulating the expression of CIDEA and FABP5 genes in the yolk sac membrane to improve poultry hatchability." The goal of this project is to enhance the hatchability of poultry embryos and to investigate the mechanisms of lipid transport in the epithelial cells of the yolk sac membrane (EECs). The study will focus on exploring the regulatory mechanisms of genes related to lipid synthesis and transport, such as FABP5 and CIDEA, with the aim of identifying critical factors for enhancing lipid absorption and utilization in chicken embryos. This research has the potential to improve hatchability and the economic benefits of poultry production.
